The goal of the conference was to reconnect, spend time in worship and prayer, hear from new president Joe Handley, and be further equipped for the task of church planting in Japan. Folks were quite pleased to meet Joe's wife Silk for the first time, and she seemed to serve everywhere possible. And despite dreary skies and steady rains most of the time, everyone's hearts were encouraged. Here is a group photo of the participants. . . Here's a fun photo. . . Asian Access missionaries involved in church planting across Japan gathered in the greater Osaka area October 23-27, 2008. Missionaries from Hokkaido to Okinawa spent several fantastic days together at Camp Nosegawa, a Christian church and camp used for many years by A2's Scrum Dendo program in the Kansai region.
